Glas-Col receives Governors Half Century Award

Indianapolis, In. – On Thursday of last week Terre Haute Company Glas-Col was awarded the Governors Half Century Award at the State House in Indianapolis. Glas-Col is located at 7th and Hulman and have been in business since 1939 when they produced heating chemical devices for the research industry. Since then, they have expanded to produce mixing, evaporation and air purification equipment.  The Governor’s Half Century Award is presented to companies that have been in continuous operation in Indiana for 50 to 99 years. The state also awards the Governor’s Century Award to businesses that have operated in Indiana for 100 or more years.
