Terre Haute, In. – Fruitridge Avenue will be closed between Hulman and Margarets Avenues Thursday and Friday between 8am and 4pm while work is being done on the street.  Next week construction will begin to repair the stop light at Davis Drive and Erie Canal Drive.  The stoplight and power lines were ripped down earlier this summer when a Dump Truck with its bed up went through the intersection.  Due to the type of intersection and the damage done a private contractor had to be brought in for the repairs.  The $100,000 project will be paid for by an insurance claim from the company responsible for the damage.
