Vigo County, In. –  On Friday the Vigo County Sheriff’s office issued a statement warning drivers to stay away from the intersection of Rosedale Road and Grant Avenue due to an accident.  According to Indiana State police Sgt. Matt Ames 68-year-old Ricky Peters of Terre Haute was southbound on Rosedale Road when a car driven by 19-year-old Anthony Simms allegedly ran a stop sign and a collision occurred.  Sims and his passenger and Peters were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
