Terre Haute, In. – A F-84 Thunderstreak Jet Fighter plane has been restored and will be place in the Racer Air Plaza which will be in the Vigo County Veterans Memorial Park on the northwest side of the Indiana State Universities Memorial Stadium grounds. The F-84 is the first type of fighter jet flown by the Indiana Air Guard at Hulman Field in 1954. This plane is one of the four fighter planes being restored that will be displayed in the Racer Air Plaza.  The other 3 planes will be one of each type that has been flown by the Guard out of Hulman Field. While the plaza is being built the F-84 will be on display at the Indiana Air National Guard base.
