Western Vigo County – Residents of western Vigo County are not only negotiating detours while utility lines are being laid and INDOT is rebuilding I-70 over The Robinson Road, but they have also been dodging Concrete Trucks on county roads as they haul concrete to the construction sight of the Clear Creek Welcome Center just east of the state line on I-70.  Hannig Construction posted and update on the progress of the rest park on social media that Asphalt Paving is 90%, Final concrete paving has begun, Roofing is ongoing, the Glass Wall Facade installation has begun, Coordination with interior and site art features continues, Installation of Indiana Limestone veneers continues and Gas, water, and sewer utility connections back to West Terre Haute nearly complete. The new facility is scheduled to open in 2025.
