Terre Haute, In. – Indiana Department of Conservation released information on their investigation of the death of 51-year-old Mike Pastorious.  Just after noon on Monday officers were called to the 7500 block of Devonald Avenue with a report of a body.  The body of Mike Pastorious was found 30 feet from a 15-foot tree stand. Officials believe Pastorious fell Monday evening but wasn’t discovered until Monday. The results of the autopsy show he died from multiple blunt force trauma with contributory medical issues. Pastorious was not wearing a safety harness.  The DNR reminds hunters to wear a body harness while hunting from tree stands.
