Parke County, In. – Current Park County highway superintendent Luke Moody faces charges of criminal recklessness, domestic battery and criminal mischief after he and his son go into a fight last month. Yesterday Parke County Commissioners released a statement that says “The Parke County Board of Commissioners met in Executive Session to discuss the facts discovered during the investigation into the arrest of the Parke County Highway Superintendent Luke Moody. Following that session and in open public meeting, the Board of Commissioners determined that it would be in the best interest of both parties to end their professional relationship and voted to do so. This action does not in any way reflect the Board’s belief in Mr. Moody’s guilt or innocence. Parke County will now begin the search for a County Highway Superintendent.”
