Vigo/County, In. – Beginning this week the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will begin alternate lane closures on I-70 on the 4 miles between State Road 46 in Terre Haute and 4 miles west of Brazil. The lane closures will take place between 8pm and 9am when the traffic is at its minimum. During the closures crews will be patching the pavement.  The work is expected to last until late December dependent on the weather.  INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while traveling through this and all work zones, and to avoid distracted driving.
