Wabash Valley – The weather and slick driving conditions yesterday afternoon tops the news this morning.  Commuters that went to work yesterday morning in sunny conditions encountered snow and slick roads and streets on the way home yesterday afternoon.  The snow began just after noon and even though the accumulation was light the snow and drizzle froze to the roads and created streets that resembled skating rinks in some areas. Area law enforcement agencies worked numerous slide offs and crashes.  The Indiana and Illinois State Police reported several slide offs on I-70 yesterday afternoon.
