Terre Haute, In. – The THPD Violent Crime Unit has taken over the investigation of a shooting that happened Tuesday. Just before 7:30 Tuesday evening officers were dispatched to a home on 14th street just south of Wabash Avenue where they found one person with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to the hospital for treatment. No more information has been released at this time.
