Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Solid Wast district is accepting limbs and yard debris.  The State recently granted the district a composting permit that allows them to accept yard waste.  Officials say that this will divert hundreds of tons of yard waste away from the landfill to create something useful for our community and environment. Yard waste can be dropped off by appointment at the south facility located at 10970 S Sullivan Place. This spring dedicated drop off hours will be announced.
