Terre Haute, In. – The heavy equipment that have been on site for several days were fired up Wednesday and demolition of the old Vigo County Jail at 3rd and Cherry Streets began. Officials estimate that the demolition will take 60 to 90 days. One the demolition is complete the space will become parking for space for the courthouse.
