Terre Haute, In. – The proposed renovation and new building project for the Terre Haute Ivy Tech campus is the top priority in the statewide college system’s capital budget request before the 2025 Indiana General Assembly. The proposed $67 million project includes a new, two-story, 78,000 square foot building that would house student services and many in-demand educational programs. The existing two-story building on the north side of the main campus would undergo an extensive renovation to house health sciences and nursing programs. The project was presented to the House Ways and Means committee Jan. 14 by Ivy Tech President Sue Elspermann. Officials say that the Legislators seemed positive about funding the Terre Haute construction project.
