Terre Haute, In. – Members of the National Association of Letter Carriers held a rally Sunday afternoon to protest the threats to dismantle and privatize the Postal Service. Doxens of protestors showed up at the Vigo County Courthouse along with concerned citizens and Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun. Rallys were held in many cities across the country simultaneously. A press release states that the National Association of Letter Carriers stands firmly against dismantling a nearly 250-year-old public institution that serves the public in every location in all 50 states and U.S. territories, that is older than the country itself—and that is based in the Constitution.
