
Terre Haute, In. – Just after 3om Friday Vigo County Sheriff Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash with entrapment at the intersection of U.S.41 South and Old Royse Road. The driver of a car on Old Royse Road attempted to cross the southbound lanes of US 41 to turn north and was struck in the driver’s door by an SUV. The car continued southbound in the median before coming to rest. The driver of the car had to be extricated by the Honey Creek Fire Department along with Terre Haute Fire personnel. The driver was then transported to an Indianapolis hospital by Lifeline. The SUV driver was transported by Trans Care Ambulance to a local hospital for non life threatening injuries.
