Sullivan County, In. – Late Thursday night a Sullivan County Deputy stopped a car for a traffic violation. The driver refused to get out of the car and took off resulting in a six-mile chase that ended when the driver went off the road and hit a tree. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.  The driver was identified as 36-year-old Brandon Houser.  When cleared by the hospital he was arrested and taken to the Sullivan County jail and charged with Resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, criminal recklessness, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated and criminal mischief.
