Hymera, In. – The students and staff at Northeast Elementary School in Hymera had to be evacuated from the school Wednesday after the wind blew a tree over and it hit a gas line behind the school causing a gas leak.  First responders were dispatched to the scene to help.  The students were transported to a nearby church then released to go home.
