Western Vigo County, In. – Just a few days after the Robinson Road Tunnel under I-70 was reopened vandals with spray paint hit spraying vulgar, derogatory and racist graffiti on the walls. Vigo County Commissioner Chris Switzer posted on social media that he was offering a $100 reward leading to information on the vandals. He said he will personally pursue legal action against the individual(s), even if they are young teens. Switzer also said, “I am absolutely disgusted. I will work with the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department to make an example of those responsible within the law. Please reach out with information.” Karrum Nasser, director of the Vigo County Solid Waste Management District, read Switzer’s post and said he’d add $100 to the reward. Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun chimed in saying he’d also match that $100.
