Terre Haute, In. – Just after 4:30 Monday morning Terre Haute fire fighters were dispatched to a fire at Paul’s Auto Yard at 2701 N. 25th St.  The fire was located on the backside of the yard making it difficult for the fire apparatus to reach it.  The fire Dept was also hindered by the lack any close hydrants which kept trucks busy hauling water several blocks.  An employee of Paul’s Auto yard used heavy equipment to move vehicles after they had been extinguished.  In all 20 vehicles were destroyed.  No buildings were damaged, and no one was injured.  The cause of the fire is being investigated.
