Federal Prison Inmate Pleads Guilty To Killing His Cellmate

Terre Haute, In. – Josuha T. Mebane of Silver Springs, Maryland, an inmate at the Federal Prison in Terre Haute, was in Federal Court Tuesday where he pleaded guilty to murdering Michael Tucker, his cellmate, in January of 2016.  Mebane was already serving multiple life sentences, and he now has another life in prison sentence. was sentenced to Live in prison again. When guards went to their cell, they found Tucker laying on his bunk with a blanket over him and Mebane told them “I killed my celli.” The official cause of death was asphyxiation, and the manner of death was a homicide according to the coroner.
