Edgar County, Il. – The Edgar County, Illinois Sheriff’s Department reports that an arrest has been made in the fatal hit-and-run that happened on April 12th in Edgar County. 911 received a call about a body lying in the road. When deputies arrived, they found the body of 31-year-old Dakota J. Gibson.  The investigation of the hit-and-run led police to issue a warrant for the arrest of 34-year-old Rheanna V. Satterfield. Deputies took Satterfield into custody on April 23. They were assisted by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Satterfield faces charges of first-degree murder and failure to report a crash involving death.
