Putnam County, In. – A semi eastbound on I-70 Monday had a mechanical issue and ran off the highway near the 35-mile marker in Putnam County.  The truck was the only vehicle involved in the accident.  The right eastbound lane was closed while emergency crews worked the accident. The driver was examined by medics at the scene and released.
