Former I.S.U. Basketball Player & Coach Dies at 98

Terre Haute, In. – An Indiana State University athletic legend has died at the age of 98.  Duane Klueh played basketball and tennis while a student at Indiana State Teachers College 1946 to 1949.  Klueh led the school to two postseason NCAA Small College Basketball Tournament appearances. He was selected by the Boston Celtics, played for the Denver Nuggets and came back to Indiana to play for the Ft. Wayne Pistons in 1950. Klueh coached the Sycamores from 1955 to 1967.  Klueh’s record at Indiana State was 182-122.
