ISU Baseball Coach Resigns

Terre Haute, In. – After 11 seasons of leading the ISU Baseball program Coach Mitch Hannahs has resigned to become the head baseball coach at the University of South Florida in Tampa. During his tenure at ISU Hannahs record was 355-214-1.  He was named Missouri Valley Baseball Coach of the Year and his Sycamore appeared in 5 NCAA Tournaments. ISU hosted a regional tournament last year and went on to play in the Super Regional in Texas. In a release from New ISU President Mike Godard he said, “Coach Hannahs’ dedication, leadership, and passion for the game have left an unforgettable mark on Indiana State’s baseball program and the University community.” He went on to say “Thank you, Coach Hannahs, for your unwavering commitment to Indiana State University and the Terre Haute community. You will always be a valued member of the Sycamore family.”
