Wabash Valley – The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the upper 90’s by the weekend. Pet owners are urged to keep in mind the hot weather can be dangerous to your animal.  If you have dogs and cats that live outside be sure they have plenty of shade and fresh water.  When walking your dog be aware that the pavement can be very hot and can burn the souls of the dog’s feet. Watch your dog’s behavior. Intense panting and lethargic behavior can be signs of overheating.  And remember do not leave animals in a closed car.
