Terre Haute, In. – A large-scale renovation is being planned for the Vigo County YMCA.  Mayor Brandon Sakbun will spearhead a massive update of the facility.  According to the mayor the city has put together a $9 million budget for the proposed changes made up Casino revenue, grants and city money.  The YMCA is highly used by the community with around 3,400 active members. The project is still in its planning stages, with a construction goal of 2026. The last updates at the YMCA were nearly 25 years ago.
