Indianapolis, In. – Churchill Downs pays Vigo County a portion of its gross revenue from the Terre Haute Casino each month. The Vigo County Commissioners recently voted to set up an escrow account to hold the funds until a foundation is established.  The foundation will manage the money…how it’s allocated and used.  Thursday the Indiana Gaming Commission approved the plan for the temporary escrow account.  The chairman of the Commission said the sooner the foundation is created, the sooner the community will benefit.
