Vigo Co. In – If you were wondering why hundreds of Semi’s were rolling through Terre Haute, West Terre Haute and National Avenue west yesterday…it was because the Indiana State Police shut down the west bound lanes of I-70 so crews could remove a tree that fell on the highway during Tuesdays storm.  Originally the shutdown was to last about 1o minutes but the tree was larger than crews anticipated so the shutdown lasted a little longer than planned.
