Clay County, In. – Officials from Thrive West Central and local developers held a ribbon cutting Monday for the new Clay Court housing development in Staunton. The development is located off Jefferson Street and will feature 10 new homes. Three of the new homes have already been built. The houses are being built in connection with Thrive West Central’s “Homes for the Future” program, which incentivizes developers to build new-age homes across West Central Indiana. The houses will cost at least $250K. Developers confirm that two of the houses have already been sold, and that they have commitments on at least two others. A&J Developers will be constructing the homes for the Clay Court development. All houses in the development will be on city utilities.
