Terre Haute, In. – A former longtime member and former chief of The Terre Haute Police Department has passed away.  77-year-old Ray Watts died last Thursday at Union Hospital.  Watts was a recipient of a purple heart after being wounded in Vietnam and served as President of the Purple Heart Association. Service for Ray Watts will be Saturday at11am at Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home.
