Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau says the number if visitors visiting the city is up 18% since this time last year and last year was a record year for tourism.  Over $300 million in economic impact dollars are realized from visitors to the city and that money goes right back into the local economy.  An uptick in sporting events and the new Larry Bird Museum are a big part of the increased numbers.
