Terre Haute, In. – Vigo County Sheriff Deputies was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning on State Road 63 at Durkees ferry road.  When they arrived, they found one of the cars on fire, but the driver had escaped.  Two people were trapped in the other vehicle, but rescue personnel quickly arrived on scene and were able to free them from the wrecked vehicle.  They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.  Deputies say failure to yield to oncoming traffic is the suspected cause of the accident.
