Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County School Board held their first meeting of 2025 Monday Night. They welcomed new member Christina Crist and elected officers. Stacey Killion is the president this year and Rick Burger will serve as Vice President again this year and new member Christina Crist will be secretary. The only item of new business during the regular board meeting was a $85,000 competitive grant presented by Doug Dillion, director of career-technical education. The board approved receiving the grant. The grant targets career pathway education and has a four-pronged approach. It targets eighth graders going into ninth grade to better educate them on career pathway opportunities in high school.
