Terre Haute, In. – A nine-year-old by is lucky to be alive after falling through the ice of a pond at the Willow Crossing apartment complex in southern Vigo County.  Just after 2pm Tuesday Honey Creek rescue responded to the scene where a bystander had been able to get the boy out of the frigid water. The boy was taken to the hospital and was released later in the day.
