Vermillion County, In. – The Vermillion County area planning commission has approved a new Unified Development Ordinance that would prevent underground storage of Carbon Dioxide and effectively block the proposed CO2 pipeline project proposed by Wabash valley Resources.  Wabash Valley Resources says it already has approval from the state, which supersedes the local Unified Development Ordinance regulations.  They have spoken out against the measure in the past. The Unified Development Ordinance still needs to be approved by the County Commissioners.
