Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Commissioners have approved 10 demolition bids for properties throughout the county including the bid for the demolition of the old Vigo County Jail.  The total cost to the county will be $93,000, which will come from the county budget. There’s more demolition schedule in the city. Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun says demolition of the old Vigo County School building and the old Terre Haute Police station have been scheduled. A Hotel will be built on the site of the old school corporation building and an apartment complex will be constructed on the police station location. Both of these projects are being done by private companies.
