Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County YMCA has received a $6.5 million grant from the Lilly Endowment through the Wabash Valley Community Foundation. The grant will be used toward a $11.5 modernization, renovation and expansion of the YMCA building and give the facility a facelift. With this funding, the YMCA will receive support for Phase I of the YMCA Riverfront Transformation project. The expansion will include more fitness space and for childcare.
