
Sullivan County, In. – A 930-megawatt natural gas power generating plant will be guilt in Sullivan County. Sullivan County officials and the Invenergy Company made the announcement on Wednesday. The power plant could produce enough electricity for 740,000 homes, along with up to 300 construction jobs. In addition, it would employ up to 25 full time people. The facility will be built in the Fairbanks area and is scheduled to be begin operating in 2026.
