
TELL CITY, Ind.–Someone from Indiana won a jackpot from the Hoosier Lottery at more than $40 million during Wednesday’s drawing.
The winning ticket is worth $42.5 million and is the fourth largest jackpot in Hoosier Lottery history. The largest ever jackpot was $54.5 million.
It was purchased at On the Fly gas station in Tell City, located on the Ohio River in southern Indiana. The person who has the winning $42.5 million ticket matched all six winning numbers which were 10, 16, 24, 33, 39, and 46.
“Congratulations to our newest Hoosier Lotto jackpot millionaire,” said Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor. “Since its first drawing in 1990, Hoosier Lotto has remained Indiana’s hometown favorite jackpot game.”
