Terre Haute, In. – The Wabash Valley Community Foundation has awarded the YWCA of the Wabash Valley a grant of $6.5 million.  The Y will use the grant to do renovation and upgrades to the facility in Fairbanks Park.  The plan is to expand the building by adding a second floor with glass windows facing Fairbanks Park and the river.  This will allow people working out to enjoy the view as they workout.  YMCA officials say that with addition space they can serve more people and offer more programs and offer programs that improve the quality of life and health of the community.
