TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A woman accused of stabbing and killing her boyfriend in September 2014 was sentenced Friday.
Jomanda Gee pleaded guilty to manslaughter as part of a plea deal and was sentenced to 16-years in prison.
That was the maximum sentence.
Police say Gee admitted to stabbing her boyfriend Corey Pryor near 4th and Oak Streets in Terre Haute.
Gee said that Pryor struck her and cut her with a knife and that is when she grabbed a knife and stabbed him.
Autopsy results show Pryor died of a single stab wound to the heart.
