HUTSONVILLE, Ill.  – A Sullivan woman and her dog were found dead after her car was found in the Wabash River Sunday near Hutsonville, Ill.

56-year-old Barbara Hightshoe and her dog were found dead inside her car rolled down a ramp.

Emergency responders found the car completely underwater when they arrived.

An autopsy will be performed, and authorities are continuing their investigation.
