PARKE COUNTY, Ind – A trial date has been set for a Parke County man who faces charges of aggravated battery, reckless homicide and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
39-year-old Dana Harris was arrested June 15 for allegedly stabbing Shane Skelton during an argument at the home of estranged wife on Indiana Street in Rockville.
Skelton later died because of his wounds.
Harris said that he used the knife to defend himself
Harris has a pretrial hearing set for August 23rd and will stand trial on September 18th.
He is being held on $75,000 bond with no 10 percent allowed.
