VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – A Chicago man accused of leading police on a chase through Terre Haute in a stolen car last Friday, made a court appearance Monday.
Police say that they tried to stop a car driven by 31-year-old Tremaine Wilson in southern Vigo County but he sped up and tried to elude officers.
He was eventually stopped near 3rd and Chestnut Streets when police uses “stop sticks” to disable his car.
Wilson continues to be held in the Vigo County Jail on various charges and will return to court on Friday.
