VIGO COUNTY, Ind.-The Indiana Department of Transportation will increase the speed limit to 65 mph from its current 55 mph on State Road 641 on the stretch from U.S. 41 to Moyer Road.  The 65 mph speed limit signs will be installed, Thursday, July 12.

INDOT obtained radar speed data along this corridor and the results of the speed study indicated the posted speed limit should be raised.   

The speed limit from Moyer Road north will remain at the current posted speed limits of 55 mph and 45 mph approaching the I-70 interchange.
