TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Services have been set for Mari Hulman George who passed away Saturday at the age of 83.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mari Hulman George is scheduled for Noon Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, on S. Ninth Street in Terre Haute.

Visitation is scheduled for noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th St., and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the church.

Hulman George was the daughter of Tony Hulman and was the Indianapolis Motor Speedways chairman of the board emeritus.

She also oversaw many of the family’s businesses for many years including Hulman and Company.

She was also very generous to Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana State, the Terre Haute Humane Society and many other charities and institutions in the area and around the state.
