TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Terre Haute Police are continuing a death investigation.
It started just before 10 a.m. Friday morning when officers were called about a man lying in the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue.
Police determined the man had died and there were no obvious signs of foul play.
An autopsy was performed Friday afternoon and nothing indicated foul play.
Earlier there were reports on social media indicating the man had suffered gunshot wounds but obviously those posts were made by people who did not know anything about the investigation.
Police say that they will not be releasing any more information this weekend.
