TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – An investigation is underway into the death of an inmate at the federal prison in Terre Haute.

Patrick Fiametta McConnell was found unresponsive on Friday last week.

Emergency medical services took him to a local hospital where he later died.

McConnell was serving a 13-year sentence for carjacking, robbery, and drug crimes.
