VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – At the Board of Public Works meeting Wednesday a new 10-year contract with Trans-care ambulance was approved.

Trans-care will handle ambulance runs in the county with the Terre Haute City Fire Department Ambulance Service taking calls in the city limits.

Trans-care will act as a backup in the city.
