BRAZIL, Ind. – The Clay County School Board is scheduled to meet tonight.
On the agenda is a proposal to install synthetic turf at Northview High School.
Board members will consider starting the process to advertise for project bids.
The board previously voted to use rainy day funds to cover the cost which is expected to be approximately $1 million.
Officials believe that artificial turf would be more economical in the long run because the facility would be available to be used by more students in more weather conditions.
